Surfed 'the patch' this beautiful, sunny morning with a small gang of super-nice, super-stoked surfers. Fun waist-high rollers in the sun. Lots of waves for everyone. Saw Tracey tear up several nice waves and impress the whole group. What a great way to start the day.
On the way back over the hill, we saw a bunch of stunning classic roadsters driving north, thought about turning the car right around...
Nice, I scored a great solo session at the Jetty this AM always good to hear others got waves today too.
Ha Greacen, you're too kind. It was super mellow out there. Tiny little fun waves rolling in inconsistently, but a nice morning to me out. Without a longboard or a SUP, you'd probably have been a bit bored with the waves, but stoked with the crowd and classic car show. :)

Second pic, what's all that red stuff, red algae? Nasty stuff, be sure to shower off. There's a classic car show in Petaluma this Saturday, maybe coming up for that. It's "Cruise Night" too.
Any color weirdness is because the iphone does not handle lighting conditions well. Didn't see any red stuff out there in real life. I think what you're seeing is the wet sand?
@tracey, I believe you're right, if it was a Red Tide issue the water would be dirtier too. Looks clean and Cold, 50 something I hear.
Yeah it was chilly in the AM for a bit, I wore my fuzzy hat and mittens for the ride up. When the fog cleared and the sun came up...I was pretty toasty catching waves.
