Monday 7am - San Mateo - Linda Mar, poor surfing
Lots of short-period sloppy closeouts on offer this morning. I passed up on it and most people seemed to be doing the same.

I gave it a go around 6:50 and it was much better than it looked (######). Pretty fun until the tide came up. There were a few surprising OH waves that snuck up on us all. I think it will pretty solid as the tide goes back down.

Agree with whatupwilly, it was a lot better than it looked. Some good rides to be had with some face time if you go to that one spot. I was hesitant to get in, but glad I went.

+3 on what the other guys said. Some good lefts to be had. The sneaker sets were closeouts but the rideable stuff was like shoulder high. Had a good time. :)

Glad you guys had a good time. I think I know where you guys went out to catch those lefts. The only guy out at that spot when I was there didn't seem to be getting good rides while I was watching. Getting into and leaving work early seemed like the better option for me today but tomorrow is another day...
