Thursday 9am - San Mateo - Linda Mar, fair surfing

Looks like the swell has dropped. Light textured conditions with surf in the waist to maybe chest high range. The spot that looks to be working the best seems to be soft. A good amount of people out compared to the past couple days I've been out but I also woke up an hour later. :( Calling it a fair -.

I hit it about 11 a.m., thigh-waist high, soft and crumbly like stale cookies, but the combination of side shore wind and expectations set to the appropriate level made it worthwhile. It was definitely deteriorating as the wind picked up and the lunchtime crowd arrived.
