surfing conditions at San Mateo - Linda Mar

Anybody out? Is there anything rideable? How big is it?

"Mess" describes it well. Dozen guys out; its Saturday, after all. Steady onshore conditions, not a lot of rides happening. A few, yes, but not a lot. Maybe chest high or so, but I only mention that because ya asked... POOR

tehdely, you might want to call the marine mammal center for that guy. He is looking a little malnourished to me! Godspeed to ya! Hopefully the surf will clean up on the incoming tide. Cheers

I was there from 9-12. LM wouldn't have been my first choice this AM but a group of my friends signed up for lessons down there and I wanted to watch/laugh at them a little. Tide was too low at first and wind was on it a bit. It was improving as I left with light side-shore wind and a fuller tide so the shoulder to closeout ratio improved.

PS - Seal is okay. MMC or similar group was there taking care of it.
