Fun afternoon/evening session (4ish-8) with a bunch of stokereporters. Nice to put faces with the names. Short-period junk and somewhat crowded conditions couldn't scare away the fun.
We paddled to a less crowded spot and caught some quick drops on the inside. Ended up paddling back to the crowded spot because well, it was working.
Dolphin, dive-bombing pelicans, leaping fish. Fog. Did I mention fun?
Exceptionally low expectation exceeded. Looooong surf session and some fun rides despite me suddenly forgetting how to surf. Poor show on my part! Waves were junky shaped but fun rides could be squeezed out of them with enough rail and enough hope. Wildlife was pretty wild. Just how wild has yet to be confirmed.

Nice meeting yinz guys! Double yoi n'at! (That's some Pittsburghese for you folks). Sorry I had to bail so quickly but my regular footed self caught a couple rights and had to scramble outta there to meet up for a dinner. Way to stay until 8! That's usually my style too.
