Friday 9pm - San Mateo - Linda Mar, poor surfing
Even with the not-so-hot reports, we hit LM a little after 4. Saw the junky junkiness that the cams showed but went for it anyway and sampled something from almost every peak on the beach. Came back to the car a little before 8.
Windy, short period stuff. Occasionally it all held up and offered some face-time. Yes, there were indeed waves sprinkled between generous helpings of the following:
* wave-oid objects
* spurious faux wave-elles
* quasi-wave-ular shapes
* proto-non-waves
* NAW (not a wave)
Poor++?
LOTS of folks warming up for tomorrow's kapuna.
