I'm unabashedly stoked after my longboard session. A wee bit bigger than yesterday & a wee bit cleaner. Couple of really fun drops I was stoked to make on a 9'2" and a bunch of shoulders. Fun crew in the water, too.
Given what we've seen this summer, days like today, normally worth a wooden nickel, are a gold medallion.
I'm with @Sticker (and was with Sticker). It was fun this morning at OB - a little more organized than yesterday and some clean shoulder high peaks to be had. Even hallowed Duckdive is not infallible. Bring yer foam as it's possible on a shortie but you'll have more fun on a longboard.

I had fun.
Came all the way down to discover I'd brought the wrong keys for the two heavy-ass locks I had on me, so I dragged my bike down to the beach and stared at it meaningfully between sets. Caught one nice one all the way in and headed to Popeyes. Echoing the "friendly people" sentiment. Stoked!
It was really fun for a while there when the wind calmed down some. Had some clean head high sets rolling in. Compared to the last few weeks, I would give it a C+
Not great but not bad, a tad bigger and a little better than yesterday. It wasn't very pretty but I caught a few fun rides...worth the paddle out.
