A good morning haiku:
Mellow, glassy waves.
Just a puff of offshore breeze.
Sun. Fun. Go get it.
Lots of fun out there. Still favoring long boards and well-timed fish, but sunny with plenty of nicely working rights and lefts. Mostly Waist high, some larger Chest high sets and some working clean knee high waves. Saw @greacen get some pretty nice ones as I was paddling out, got a few fun ones myself.
I'm pretty stoked.

I did a 2.5 hour session @ Lindamar in the late afternoon. Not as clean as the photos above, but still really fun. A few anecdotes:
1) a group of surfers were in the lineup waiting for waves and a woman said, "did you just see that dolphin?" None of us saw it and this other woman goes, "are you sure it wasn't a shark?" Woman #1 says, "no, think it was a dolphin." Woman #2 responds, "it could've been a seal.", Woman #1 stands her ground, "It wasn't a seal, I saw a fin." Woman #2 concludes, "oh no, dolphins always travel in pairs, it was a shark!" I don't know what the f*ck Woman #2's problem was. She didn't even see it and was sure that it was a shark instead of a dolphin.
2) saw piss-shiver's dog running around, licking its ass, but there was no sign of piss-shiver.
3) ran into stokereporters greacen and Tracey heading out for their second session of the day with their logs. Tough jobs you two must have!
4) there was actually a big crowd on the beach along with girls in bikinis and dudes trying to impress them by playing sand football. That's an everyday sight in Socal, this is the first time I've seen it in Norcal. Parking was scarce.
5) Was worried a couple times about getting run over by kooks. Lucky it didn't happen. Man, it's scary to see a guy who is wobbling all over the place as he makes the drop bear down on you.
All in all, a fun time. Wish it was 85 degrees every day!
sorry Kooktastic, that wasn't Stacey. I brought her past the SC line and told that B to *sit* while daddy ripped a few. She got the Alpo, pets from walkers-by, and a hella good time.
