poor surfing conditions at San Francisco - Ocean Beach

Wednesday 5am - San Francisco - Ocean Beach, poor surfing

It's still dark here at sfob, so this report is brought to you courtesy of the huge moon hanging over the ocean. The swell has sadly dropped quite a bit since last night and I don't see any evidence of the sw groundswell that's in the water right now. Waves look to be in the waist high range, disorganized and confused. I hope that you had your fill over the last couple of days and can close your eyes at work today and hit the replay button in your head.

I really I wish it was like yesterday's yesterday. It's still glassy, just somewhat disorganized as DD described. Still though, there are some good rides to be had out there. It even looked to be getting better when I left. There were some sideways waves that were kind of annoying. But other than that, it's one of those right place, right time days as the waves sometimes just pop up on you. There's maybe a little more predictability on the outside.

Here's a faded shot of the moon from this morning. It's sideways and I'm not sure how to fix that.

Not to parade on your rain or anything, but we found a field of glassy bowls 7-9 someplace out there... Fun!!
