Saturday 8am - San Mateo - Linda Mar, poor surfing
Junky sloppy waves in the chest - shoulder high range. There's about 15 people out spread up and down the beach. I dont see any shoulders to ride. Calling it a poor.

11-1pm. It was windy but it was still loggable in one spot. Me and a couple other guys were getting consistent knee waist high lefts that were more fun than they looked from my car... Fair- But I was in need of some good 'ole loggin. Too many people though... Be careful

The early bird didn't get the worm today. My indecision on where to go this morning (that and Ikitesurf said that the coastal winds would likely die down by mid-day) actually paid off for once . I was there from 11:30 to 2:30 and had a good time. I found the wind was a non-issue by noon and it cleaned up pretty fast. It was best from 12-1 before the tide swamped/shortened the length of the rides. More than just loggable too. A couple of people were doing well on their shortboards (again, mainly from 12-1). Good times.
