Monday 8am - San Mateo - Linda Mar, poor surfing

Poor-. Disorganized, junky all around mehness. Upside, wasn't windy and there's some sun. It's rideable but it ain't pretty. Plenty of fat, wobbly waist-chest high waves that close out. Caught one, headed to work.

Completely agree (and recommend readers disregard whatupwily's post to the contrary.) Nothing but crumble and closeouts.

To be fair, the BEACH can be gorgeous while the waves are terrible. ;D

Well we tried at least. Also, of note. We went into the water seeking a shoulder in a spot where there were no other surfers. May have been a case where the crowd knew better. And yes, it was a beautiful morning.
