surfing conditions at San Francisco - Ocean Beach

Doggie was worried about me on the beach, but I went in anyway.

went in at dawn it was glassy for about 30 minutes before the texture showed up. No outside peaks at all where I was. Was some fun waist to shoulder hollow stuff on the inside until the backlash off the shore overwhelmed it. Definately bail out the top by the end of a decent wave you'll be all but on the beach. Where I was wasn't very loggable but maybe as the tide rises.

It was waist high by my house with no push at all. I was giving up and walking home when I spotted a little racey wave, surfed it for another hour. Stomach high but fast and fun on my 7'0 thingy. Happened to meet and Surf with tehdely and he caught some too! Now that the fog has started to lift look for the faster stuff cause it is sloooow out there and there's some current.

That was fun! Got to bike the outer lanes of Great Highway again, due to *~*~*sand*~*~*. Nice glassy little ramps and a brisk current pulling south. Weren't too many people out, and even saw some turn around after taking a look, but I would call it totally Worth It. Giving it a Fair, Fair+ if you're on a longboard.

Looks to be about 20'-25' long. Damn!

Didn't see him when I was out, but a couple of friendlies were feeding outside the line-up about 3ish. Longboard was the call for me but it was fish-able as well.

@jelly - not only is it 25' long, it's 8' wide and 6' tall.
