Surfed ###### from about 10-11:30. Shoulder to a lil' bit overhead. There were a few sets pushing through outside, but mostly not connecting. Although there were a lot of walled closeout sections there were definitely some lined up shoulders if you could hunt em' down. Semi-crowded, but mellow. Pretty fun overall and the weather's absolutely gorgeous. Hurry up before the wind gets on it. Me thinks fall's coming...
beautiful weather and fun, racy sections. if you can get out of work, school or (in my case) diaper duties, it's worth the trip to the beach.
was cursing the stacked up wind swell churn on the inside (I'm still cleaning sand out of my ears) but then was smiling when some nice ones that came through the line-up. not a bad current with the small tide swing either.
watch out for our land-lubbing counterparts. a woman rescued out of the surf was breathing but wouldn't have been for long if another pair of waders hadn't seen her and brought her to shore. be safe and play nice.
Don't mean to be mean, but I think @tcannon and I agree...near miss for swimmer = good surfing...heh :)
I was out for about 2 hours...and had a few good ones....but couldn't stop thinking of that great white sighting down in Pacifica...
I'm not gonna lie...I was a bit scared. I usually despise crowds...but today I was happy there was a full menu out.
@RashGuard: there's nothing the matter with being scared the day after a 25 ft., 8000lb. Great White sighting. :)
