Sunday 2pm - San Francisco - Ocean Beach, good surfing
What a welcome back! I got off the plane and headed for SFOB, where I found sunshine, an outgoing tide and head high+ waves. At 1pm the wind was light and the surf was a tad on the junky side, but every 10 minutes or so it would clean up and produce some solid A frames on the outside and some fast, hollow, dumping sessions on the inside. Invitations to the green room were sent around and a few were accepted (none by me sadly). The paddle out was fairly easy if you picked your route well. Bye bye Tim Hourton, hello Ocean Beach. It's great to be back.
