Friday 9am - San Francisco - Ocean Beach, good surfing
Clear sunrise revealed well-organized, glassy waves. Conditions ranged from steadily crumbling longboard dreams to quick and hollow. Took out my brand new El-Fuego in the later and loved it. While small, there was definitely a scent of almonds. Got covered up twice but had to pop out the roof (if that makes any sense in English)... Plus, I got to pick what I thought was the best peak and had it pretty much to myself for 1.5h; looking up and down the beach, there were little groups or single surfers and all looked like they had picked their best peak as well :)
