Trying to not sound like too much of a SFOB homer, but it was pretty darn spanky this morn. 1.5x, glassy, offshore, peeling, lined up.

I paddled out in the dark this morning. For me, the sun rose to funky, high-tidey conditions...I missed the lined up part. I'll second the 1.5x and glassy though.

I paddled out at the wrong end of the beach...and fought the current for 1.5 hours...while occasionally grabbing a HH wave every 20 minutes or so. I'd suggest you do a drive up and down the beach before you paddle out.

Hey @pickle, you got it. I actually am having a hard time coming up w/a negative about this morn. My paddle was easy, the sunrise was ridiculous, bombs were exploding all around me, I was the only one in the water for the first 20 minutes & it never got even close to crowded. When people did show up, they were all sporting shit-eating-grins.
OK, here are my only 2 complaints: (1) There was an occasional lull between sets and (2) I never found a green room in which to eat my Lunchable.

Oddly I found things thick, heavy, and beefed early, and then things changed to nearly the same size, yet thinner crust! Weird swell.
Bagged a few that were worth the fight. As per the usesh! woot!

Trippy day. Tons of water moving around, rips, longshore current, actually moved me out bigtime, then down a couple hundred yards, then back. Quite a few waves but needless to say hard to line up. Got a few
