Friday 9am - San Mateo - Linda Mar, fair+ surfing

Bigger, (maybe) not quite as clean as recent days. Still plenty of fun to be found up and down the beach. Go get it.

Yup, plenty fun. Waist-Head high where I was at with some nicely larger ones where larger ones are. The inside was fast and steep. I held on too long on one too many waves and had my kickout rejected more than once. Wheeeeeeouch. Some long lulls and some inconsistency, but still plenty to pick off.

Nice waves again today. Lindy has been nice for most of the week.

@diz: Yeah, a pretty consistently good week (knock on stringer).

@t: It's nice how that inside section connects with a big pile of rocks lately.

Oh yeah, @hasbro, your friend was out again but displayed some sense of etiquette. Maybe learning is possible afterall?

I've had a few of those rejected kickouts at ol' Lindy before, too. I get kind of greedy as the wave gets speedy and then, thump, my head or some other part of me is in the sand. Literally. Hey, you know, that might be a good band name. The Rejected Kickouts.
Don't listen to me I'm still jacked from my rides this morning. :)

Greacen: Pile o rocks AND a tree stump. With all that you'd think it'd keep me honest but no, stole a few more seconds of wave every time.

Friscohio: The Rejected Kickouts! :D

+1 on the pile of rocks. With the super high tide, I actually got washed across the pile of rocks in front of the pump house. Total n00b action..walking along with my board...wave comes up a lot higher than i was expecting and takes me out and runs me + my board along the r0cks like I was some dirty laundry. Fun day though outside of that spill.
