We've got Similar conditions to yesterday morning; Ocean Beach brings us a moderate onshore breeze and a mixture of local windswell and longer period groundswell producing waves in the 1.5x overhead range. There is good amount of crumble and junk. It looks like some work getting through the inside, and rideable sections on the outside are scarce. Not great at all.

Sunday Morning brings us scattered clouds and a stiff breeze out of the NNW. The combination of the local onshore flow and a mixture of local windswell and groundswell is producing junky and textured conditions. Waves look to be in the overhead to 1.5x overhead range. It looks like a day for drinking a few beers and watching the superbowl, or enjoying some fresh powder in Tahoe while everyone else watches the superbowl.

Saturday morning brings us overcast skies and light winds from the South East. It's raining. The surf is in the head high to 1.5x overhead range. It's an ugly mix of ground swell and local windswell. The paddle looks on the annoying side with little reward on the other side. I suspect that the water isn't too clean after the heavy rain last night. All in all, not the best morning for surf.

Friday mornings brings us scattered clouds a light offshore breeze and waves in the the 2x OH range. The energy is raw, mostly in the 8-10s range, and this is producing junky and mixed up waves. The paddle looks reasonably challenging and not worth it.

Grabbed a get-wet session at Linda Mar this morning. Not a whole lot going on at low tide. No pre-storm swell at this point. Steely-grey water, mostly closed out on the north side of the beach. A few short hops to steal here and there. Very small crowd.

At one point I thought I saw a big cloud of green smoke rise from the eucalyptus stand where pch heads up toward devils slide. Anyone else see this? Maybe it was some sinus-pressure induced hallucination.

Ocean beach brings us a light offshore breeze, overcast skies and waves in the shoulder high range. It's a smidge mixed up but decent looking shoulders are making a semi-regular appearance on the inner bars. It looks a little hit or miss but worth a paddle I you're feeling it. No takers so far. Surfed Linda Mar today from 12-1.30pm. Does that place ever hold above 3 feet??? It was close out city. I saw a few guys getting more than just the drop...but very few. Water was very nice though. Smooth and clear....but damn those closeouts.

Had a fun longboard session at the pump house from 7-8:15 this morning. Conditions were much better than I expected which made me take the plunge. Glad I did. The tide changing to incoming I think helped out. Waist to chest high. Sunny & warm. PS - what's with the weather forecasters being so off lately? I was expecting rain when I woke up?

Wednesday morning brings us a light offshore wind and threateningly overcast skies. The swell has come up a notch since yesterday and is now in the 1.5x overhead range. It's still a bit disorganized looking, especially on the inside, but there are regular rideable shoulders making an appearance from time to time. If you're up for the paddle, you could find some gems out there. Fair-

partly cloudy skies, hint of breeze and little patooty waves. hard to tell but maybe 2-3 ft, with occ. bigger down the beach, inconsistent so far, a few peeps scattered along the beach, a longboard is the best call from what I've seen, it's a nice morning, I think I'll pass.

DP report. Very tiny but clean. Saw at least one guy out on the north end as first light came up getting a little drop. Lots of cars in the parking lot already considering it wasn't light out yet. Not quite enticing enough for me this morning after this weekend. Was expecting a little more size but it should get better through the morning if the swell comes up more before high tide.

Booming outer bars mid-south OB. didn't look like anything insane- and it was probably pushing 2x overhead on the sets - but with the negative low tide and the reconfigured sand bars it was just top to bottom and throwing. Got a little careless and got tagged by a 4-wave set. Gotta love a robust legrope!

Good surfing, got about 5 ~head high waves around pump house; two peeled right beautifully, on 3 I was a bit too deep in the pocket. Sun out and light winds. Only downer was the agro attitude in the crowd. Watch out for a guy on a red McTavish long board. He yelled at me for sitting outside and not taking a head-high close out, telling me that I screwed him even though he was sitting on his board facing the horizon. Kept yelling at me in the lineup. Didn't see him catch a single wave, then he tries to snake me on my last wave and faceplants his bottom turn. Bummer end to a great sess.

afternoon sesh at linda bush and it's totally fun, sunny! outgoing tide and a dropping swell have taken a closing out edge off I think, after reading the morning reports, everyone including your mom is out (hi mom!), but enough nooks to go around. I got more waves than you can shake a fist at, if you're still looking to surf, this is a fun, mellow option. waist to hh depending.

Sunny, warm and decent waves to be had. Best at the north end on the high tide. Quite crowded, but waves to go around. Biggest sets are overhead closeouts, but the medium sizers are mostly breaking quite nicely.

Surfed Bolinas today (12 - 2:30) for the first time just for <muffs>shits and giggles </muffs>. Tide was really high at the start..going far up the ramp. Ended up at the Patch on the advice of a nice regular (Jim) and it was a pretty fun day. We caught some waist high clean sets and even saw some sun. Jim said conditions were unlike most times he is out there with waves breaking left where he has never seen it break left, etc. Almost no crowd (4-5 folks) which in my mind made the fair conditions a good day.

Ocean Beach (middle of the beach) - 1pm - 2:30
Quite good in my opinion, chest high to a bit overhead, tubular tubing waves crashing all over the place. Pretty peaky and spread out - people making barrels all over the place (all the boys were kissing in the tube) Even had a fun encounter with some guy when I came up after a duckdive...he was taking off and I ended up in his way, I paddled towards him, said "sorry about that", then he threw up his middle finger (i'm not sure if it was at me or not - only kind of looking at me) Either way it was pretty funny. Great session

Good minus, I would say. The tide is sucking out right now from a 7 foot high to a negative 2 foot low. Most of us spent a lot of time and energy trying not to get swept out to sea. The waves were pretty fun mid-beach. Still a little backing off in between the sandbars. Nice to get back in the water after 11 days of rain.
