My expectations were low, so I was happily surprised at the number of open faces there were on the higer tide. Sun came out, basically calm water, so overall a nice morning. Some speedy inside reform sections if you could get it to connect. Fell apart with the tide switch.

Small clean peaky fun. I'm surprised there's no reports yet from today...maybe everyone is recovering from the gnar this weekend? I didn't get out this weekend, so I definitely enjoyed the waves I got today. Seemed like the crowd around me did too. Sometimes it's easier to shine work than it is to shine family responsibilities. I think I'm the opposite of a weekend warrior at this point, purely due to being a dad, not cause I'm so bad, ha.

Got to OB at 6:15 in the dark and felt strong south winds when I got out of the van. I didn't have time to hang around and see if it was worth surfing and potentially get skunked, so I went down to Linda Mar. Surf was small and weak, but very clean, and just a beautiful calm morning. A few of the pulses lined up nicely with open shoulders, and occasionally pockets of power, so I'm calling it fair+. Fun mellow way to start the day. By the looks of the webcam, I could've surfed OB, but the clean conditions and sunshine in Pacifica were great!
