“It could’ve been a clown car show in there,” says Tahitian photog Domenic Mosqueira, who shot the cover of Stab issue 56, which features Bruce Irons sitting in a crystal Teahupoo cave, eyes covered by a blindfold. “It’s really something to see someone that knowledgeable ride a wave, to see his hand in the face, reading it as if it was Braille. It was amazing to watch and it was ballsy.

Last week, I woke up to people contacting me about my ASP SUCKS article on Surfline. I thought to myself: 'I didn't write an article for Surfline?'

I wrote a rant in frustration with the ASP and its confusing wildcards situation in Hawaii, and sent it to a private group. It was an attack on the ASP, not an attack on Hawaiians.

Three people were pulled from the water at Ocean Beach and taken to a hospital Thursday after their boat capsized offshore around sunset.

San Francisco Fire Department rescue crews were sent to the beach near Tarava1 Street about 5:30 p.m., according to a dispatcher. Fire officials did not provide further information.
