I found this video of the ASP San Francisco contest. It was such an epic couple of days, having the contest in town and scoring with super fun surf! I still can't beleive that Kelly made it out of that barrel!

I love High Performance Longboarding and this video is on of the best I've seen.
This guy Taylor Jensen is THE MAN! His longboarding style is super impressive!
He holds the 2011 Longboard title.

Totally scored down south today! Super fun SH/HH waves and a pleasant crowd. Maybe 20 people in the water but everyone seemed stoked. I was surprised to score such fun surf today. Super Stoked!

End of the Line Surf shop

I was just talking with an old friend about a shop we used to work at when we just got out of high school in the early 90's and I found this sticker. End of the Line, was a super fun place to work and was full of different characters! It will always be a great part of my memory and I miss all the fun times we had there.

So, I checked out OB yesterday after work yesterday and it was messy so I made my way down to Linda Mar. Surprisingly found a really fun peak on the ######, WH-SH, fun peelers with a mix of local, good surfers, and some total kooks. Regular Linda Mar mix.....

Local surfer exhibition at RIP CURL Search Contest?

In between the semi’s and finals of the Rip Curl Pro Search, the beach and online spectators will witness a 20-minute exhibition of the true Ocean Beach locals at their home break. Who is surfing in this? Do they need me to come down to show what a local can do? HAHA!

Why has there been good and fair forecasts on Stokereport, when the waves are crappy? The other day it said Good, I went to the beach to find Double overhead poop dumpers at the middle of OB. Don't believe the hype. Big swell does not always mean good waves... duh.

Surfboard - Bought on Mission St. $60.00

I was driving down Mission St. and saw a surfboard bag at a garage sale so I stopped to give it a look. When I grabbed the bag, it had a board in it. I asked how much for the board and bag , and the toothless man told me $60.00. The board was brand new and is probably stolen.

Do rules apply to older people?

I was surfing at Linda Mar on Monday with 30 people at one of the only peaks at the beach and was dropped in on, paddled around, cut off, and yelled at. These were all done by older men in there 60's and above. Do rules still apply to older people?

San Francisco Longboarding club?

I have always been interested in joining a longboarding club like Pedro Point club or Santa Cruz Longboarding Union, but I am born and raised at Ocean Beach SF. I was wondering if anyone knows about any Longboard Surf clubs in SF? Would anyone be interested in joining one?
