The swell has finally come up a bit. Sadly the onshore wind has too. We're looking at overcast skies and moderate onshore wind. The waves are sectiony with a delicious crumble topping. There are regular workable shoulder high+ sections though. Definitely some fun to be had. Poor+ to Fair-

Friday morning brings us more overcast skies and a moderate onshore wind. The waves have picked up slightly but it's textured, crumbly and very local. It's not a complete disaster and there are some soft but rideable waves moving through. It's looking pretty poor overall. At least we've got the BBQ to look forward to :) Poor+

Very similar conditions to yesterday morning. The swell had come up a tiny but but we're still looking at light winds and clean surf in the knee to waist high range. It's weak and crumbly but nice conditions for very, very mellow long boarding. Fair-

Winds are light and conditions are clean at SFOB. Sadly, there isn't really any significant swell in the water and waves are waist high at best. Looks like a great day for beginners on longboards. Poor+

According to the report, Heller "has sailed the Antarctic Sea with eco-pirates in pursuit of an illegal Japanese whaling fleet, and traversed the deepest Tibetan gorge with kayakers bent on conquering the Tsangpo River."

The swell has dropped quite a bit since yesterday. The hyper local windswell has also died down a bit too, cleaning things up a bit. We've got fairly well defined lines approaching shore, with some crumble and texture on the surface from the light to moderate onshore wind. It's not great, but with the right board you could definitely snag some rides. Poor+

It's another overcast morning at OB. The wind has died down quite a bit but there is still some light onshore flow from the SW. The SW swell has faded and most of the energy is short period NW windswell. It's pretty junky and crumbly, but there are shoulder high waves for the taking. Poor+

Wednesday Morning brings SFOB similar conditions to yesterday. We've got overcast skies and a strong blustery wind out of the SW. The swell is a mixture of SW groundswell and longer period windswell from the NW. Throw this all in a cocktail shaker, and you get a crumbly, ragged, junky martini. Drink up!

It's Monday morning and the sky is grey and overcast and the surf is ragged. The swell has jumped up in size, but the Ocean is textured and the surf is sectiony and junky with a generously textured surface. There is a bit more energy than we've seen for a few days, mostly from the NW but with a small pulse from the SW starting to show. It looks to be in the shoulder high+ range. Look for conditions to improve as the week wears on, especially for breaks that pick up some southerly energy. Poor+

It's a pleasant morning at sfob. It's clear and winds are light. There is a decent swell in the water producing eaves in the shoulder high+ range. It's fairly windswelly but there are consistent shoulders for the taking. Looks like a good morning to get your surf on.

It's another overcast morning at Ocean Beach. The wind has almost completely died and the ocean is glassy. Sadly there isn't much swell in the water but there is some energy coming in from the SW at 12s+ producing clean lines up and down the beach. It's knee to waist high, but with the right board you could have some fun. It's a perfect day for beginners. A rare thing at OB.

The wind has kindly backed off a bit at SFOB and we're now looking at a moderate onshore flow in the 10mph range. The swell has also dropped quite a bit and it's now producing waves in the chest high range. It's crumbly but fairly clean looking. Find the right spot and you'll find some fun out there. Fair-

Happy holiday Monday. We've got decent swell at OB with NW windswell and an 18s SW groundswell. We've also got a gusty wind from the southwest. Waves look to be in the shoulder high + range, with an occasional overhead set. It's a bit funky and crumbly looking but there is almost certainly something fun to be had. Fair-

It's another gloomy summer morning. We've got a strong moderate to strong onshore wind and overcast skies at SFOB. The surf is windswelly and choppy, in the shoulder high range. SFOB brings us overcast skies and a brisk onshore breeze. We've got a messy looking windswell torn up by the wind. It is a little better looking than yesterday with regular semi-rideable shoulders moving through. If you are desperate you could probably do some wave sliding.
