I took a peak tour, courtesy of the north bound express. It was only one way, and had to get off when I run out of beach at sight.
There were some fun peaks to be had around 8.30 / 9am, and it was a one man one peak situation, so I can't complain. I would have enjoyed another hour of those conditions though. The waves were deteriorating quickly as the tide started rising, and the south wind swell was filling in.
Overall, very nice morning, sun out, off shores, HH peelers. Welcome fall!
I hate crossing the bay bridge in the mornings in weekdays!

I made it down to the beach around the low tide .... there were a few small wedges that made the drive through the bridge worth it. Overall, not a great session, but it's good to be back in the north pacific :)

Yesterday we saw awesome waves here in Peru. Pico Alto was breaking at 6meters+, while all the other breaks were just close outs. The only spot that I was able to surf was La Herradura, which was breaking at 3 solid meters, with its 3rd section just barreling.

I just came out of the water around ######....the wind is starting to pick up, but it was a fun session, and there are still some waves to be had. Nice to know that you can actually get to the lineup here with dry hair. One hour sesh, 15 waves, HH (if you're a bit short), clean faces. Overall, fun, mellow surf today. Go back to work now.

Paddled out around 11am at ######. Fun waves to be had, and the paddle was not bad at all (15+ duckdives).....when I was about to leave, around now, the waves were going down....there was quite a crowd though, is wednesday a hollyday around here?? all in all a really fun session, some OH clean faces to be had, payed a short visit to the good old green room. Seems like this is going to be a fun weekend of waves! gotta love november in SF.

Got in around ###### between 7:30-9:30. Good session. Sunny day, 15 duck dives on my way in, clean head high faces, and some of them even opening up the green room for the people. There was a lot of people out though, but the rips were making their job shifting the crowd around.
Looks like with the low tide things are going to get better, but we'll have to keep an eye on the wind.

santa cruz county report

I surfed north of santa cruz around noon, and again at about 4pm. With the high tide in the early afternoon there were some fun chest high waves to be caught, but when the tide fell, and the south swell started filling in, it got awesome: 1.5X long rights, with a manageable crowd. It seems like tomorrow is going to be even better. I might make the drive in the afternoon....
