Looked at middle OB and ######. Both look pretty comparable though the slightly smaller and easier paddle at ######. Mixed up on inside with some outside HH+ peaks that pitch and roll into a mushy shoulder.

Heading out to middle OB because I love duck diving.

Second session at middle @oceanbeach. Saw so many HH+ perfect lefts peeling... In front of me as I duck dove under all of them. "Whee." There would be lulls where I would "sprint" to the outside just in time for another round of poundings on the head. There were definitely some sweet HH+ peeling lefts though none were in the cards for me today.

I should have heeded H20MansLibrary's warning.

5:00PM

Light wind from the west. Peaky with a fairly easy paddle out. Waves shoulder to head high. The waves had reasonable shape giving some 'long rides' (from an Ocean Beach definition (i.e., 2 turns)) though mushy.

With the warm water, it was a fun session. Can't wait until Fall...

Is anyone else down here at OB seeing lightning flashes (no thunder)? First saw flash around 5:40 AM and have seen 4 more since. Should I check myself in or call a priest for an exorcism?

Warm, overcast and glassy. Showing signs of swell though high tide blessing the waves with its glory. Fingers crossed for improvement in tide. Saw a few good waves though nobody was on them.

So close but yet still far away....
