Looks like the swell has dropped. Light textured conditions with surf in the waist to maybe chest high range. The spot that looks to be working the best seems to be soft. A good amount of people out compared to the past couple days I've been out but I also woke up an hour later. :( Calling it a fair -.

Cloudy skies with a textured sea. Chest high +. The spot where I surfed was good. Been a long time since I've gotten good waves at LM. Everyone is spread throughout the beach. Other areas not so good. Being generous giving it a fair-/poor +.

Great white shark warning off California

It's crowded. Sets are waste high to slightly bigger. Lotta lefts and rights. A lil soft but you can get long rides. Be patient and you will be rewarded. :)

It's good to be back in the water. :) Last time I did a report was 4 months ago which was the last time I surfed

As far as conditions at LM it's beautiful with no wind. Waves are gutless and mushy in the waste to maybe chest high as you move north. Crowd is starting to come in so get it while you can. I'll probably come out again with the family this evening. :)

Maverick's surfers still on hold

I think most of us figured this out with a storm heading our way....

The Maverick's big-wave surf contest had high hopes for running the event Wednesday, but called it off Monday after a vote of the 24 competitors. Although there are no potential contest days on the immediate horizon, reports indicate more big swells for Northern California sometime next week.

It's a beautiful day at SMLM. Stiff offshore winds pushing you into sea. Blue skies and the sun is out. However, there's a good amount of texture due to the winds and the wave are soft in the waist to maybe shoulder high range as you move north. High tide is making it mushy and lotta waiting in between sets. It's probably in the poor + to fair - range. But me personally I'm giving it a poor +.

It's a beautiful sunny day at LM. The surf is mixed up with texture in the shoulder high range. I see less than 10 guys out there. Only watched a few guys catch some short shoulders. The h20 contamination signs are up so beware. Callin it a poor.

Probably no surfing at rockaway cause they have some contest going on there.

Nice sunny day at rockaway. Only 5 of us out but nobody there anymore. Was HH when I got out but now chest shoulder high rights to be had. The water is brownish red color and stinks. Much better than the closeouts at LM. Giving if a fair.

Today at Waikiki beach we have jumbly windswell conditions in the chest high range. The waves are mostly soft with a couple walled up waves coming through. Prolly bigger as you head north. It's SUPER CROWDED at Waikiki, oops I mean smlm. I haven't surfed for 2 weeks so I was jonesing. But if you have better things to do just stick with that. Giving it a fair.

Btw if you head out, pay attention to where you walk. Lotta kids playing. *shaka*

Shark Sightings Shut Down Stinson Beach

Stinson Beach in Marin County will be closed at least until Saturday after two people on Boogie boards saw a great white shark, according to national park workers.
John Ralph, the national park service lifeguard supervisor at Stinson Beach, said there were still about 700 people on the beach today, but the water is closed for five days following a shark sighting Monday afternoon....

LM is waist high. It's weak and soft. Reminds me of Waikiki but without the board shorts, bikinis, palm trees, blue water, and 85 deg temp. An occasional walled up chest high wave would come through. Recommend a nice floaty board and head north past ######. Giving it a fair-.

For entertainment today we have pelicans dive bombing fir breakfast and a seal popping his head every now and then.
