The Wrist Pod by Golden Hour
The Wrist Pod is a unique camera accessory that allows you to attach any camera to your wrist and wear it like a watch.
Its heavy duty neoprene strap will hold your camera tightly to your wrist when swimming, paddling, or climbing and your camera will tilt up at a moments notice when you want to take a picture or video.
Originally designed for surfing, the Wrist Pod is perfect for all sorts of sports and activities where pockets, quick access, or dropping your camera are a concern.
The Wrist Pod’s patent pending design utilizes your cameras universal tripod mount, so no additional parts or modifications are necessary and it only takes a few seconds to mount up.

Very clever, @stokereport... Sell through the expensive GoPro *first* & then offer the poor man's version later. I see your game. And I like it. Now start, sale, start!

oooh nice sale. I like it too. Something tells me that thing would be perfect for bombing down some SF hills on a skateboard. Just saw the GoPro in a shop and it's like $260!!

It's just the wrist strap. Not that the camera shown isn't cheap and great (I have one), but it's not a $22 camera.

Will that strap hold a flask? I'll buy two. Make that 4. I have skinny ankles. :D

Wrist pod, cankle runkler, same deal. Someone's really thinking, I agree :)
Now I wonder if a SUP could be modified and bored out to have a tanker hull like the Exxon Valdiz, to hold liquid? :)
The paddle definitely could be used as a big beer gourd!

I bought one for my upcoming trip to Chile/Indo. Any advice on a good camera to go with it? I am looking at the stylus tough 6020.

My Olympus Stylus is at least 3 or 4 years old now & has survived drops on cement in addition to trips over the falls at the Beach. Pretty tough little camera. Pics ain't bad, either. I'm sure the latest version is even more badder asser.
btw, Chile/Indo? Shit. Jealous.

Alright, thanks sticker. I just ordered the olympus. Some review said the picture taking time is a bit slow but $175 vs. $300 for the lumix I decided to go cheap.
Don't be jealous just make it happen! Been saving for 5 years. Quit my job, moving everything into storage tonight, and hoping on the plane for a month in chile 3 weeks in Costa Rica then 2 months in Indo. Hopefully we find some waves. I'm gonna start a blog at some point.

Damn, dude, nice work. My window to do something like that passed about 18 months ago when the wife gave birth to our daughter. Wouldn't trade it.

I'll be there in about 2 years sticker. I have a 1 month old nephew. Looking forward to my own. But a few more selfish barrels first...
