Rant - Mal pais costa rica dec 11-30

Gonna be down in the Sothern nicoya around mal pais this December. If anybody will be around and wants to rent a car to possibly find some more remote spots shoot me a line.

$300.00 - FireWire sweet potato 6'2" quad

I recently bought this board and have had a blast on it but am looking for something a little smaller. This board is huge at 6'2" with a 3.25" step deck, 23 inch body and crazy large tail. It's basically a great board for sub 4 foot waves for somebody transitioning down from a log or for a shirtboarder on small days where you want to rip.

Sunday 11am - Linda Mar, fair+ surfing

Oh Lindy, how I love your sexy curves when you want to play nice. Fun WH with occasional CH rollers from all the way outside to the inside. Oh, and they are lefts with no wind. Boo yah.

I'd say good for the log but it was a bit mushy for the shortboarders. Good times all around!

Rant - Best Spanish school in central America near surf?

I'm planning a month long trip in December to Mexico or central America and wanted to know if anyone knew of any solid spanish schools next to a good break. I have been to tamrindo and backpacker around montanita in Ecuador and am looking to avoid the gringo party vibe since I want to immerse myself on the language as well as find some swell.
