I'm really jones'ing to get out, but struggling with the poo factor. At least in Pacifica it may be my own poo. Is that better? At least I know what's in there. Large portion of sushi, watered down with a few gallons of sake and Japanese beer. . . I could eat that again right? Anyway, I digress. . .
santa's serving up a beautiful, calm, sunny, warm day. nice vibe at the beach - and it's not quiet. medium crowds, vying for the glassy close-outs. great day for a christmas paddle, but take your long board and a chill attitude. merry ho-ho stoke reporters!
got out around 2pm. it wasn't bad for a maintenance sesh. i think the high tide was killing it. not "killing it" as in awesome either. the wind has put some texture and warbles on the water but the waves that were breaking where pretty clean. may be worth checking later. . .
i was out with matt (below) but we kind of split in different directions in the water. i was underfoamed, on my 6'8", and had a hard time getting into anything. the waves where either too mushy or a longboarder was already on it. poor doesn't quite fit the bill today, i'm giving it a full 4-fart rating.
