I went down and checked the beach this morning, but I won't be reporting what I saw.

The comment from mauro to carlbettag, "You and Lee (from the earlier report) are working at cross-purposes...he's trying to beat the crowd and you're trying to encourage the crowd to get to the beach.", raises the point that different people are motivated to use StokeReport for different reasons. What's your reason?

I've never seen a photo quite like this one. A three meter shark in Australia was found with with a huge bite taken out of it. The theory is that another shark twice its size is responsible for the bite. From the story:

"Tourists holidaying in the Australian state of Queensland have been warned to stay out of the water by authorities who fear a giant six metre-long shark might be prowling the coast.

Someone was so excited to get to work after surfing that they left their board in the beach parking lot between ###### and ###### this morning. Who knows? Maybe you're a workaholic and don't want it back? You did leave the beach on a beautiful, clean, and sunny day instead of calling in sick and playing all day...

If you're sitting in your Aeron, staring at you're 30" monitor, and having second thoughts, I'd like to get your board back to you. Work might be fun, but surfing is way mo betta.
