Glassy, Chest to HH. Mellow and soft after the initial drop, a good day for a longboard on the outside, or a fish on the inside. Had a stack of fun on the longboard with the dropping tide. Pretty quiet out there to surprisingly. This weather is nuts, better than summer!

Not a bad way to bring in the new year. Head high peaks that tapered fast to flabby shoulders. After the run of big surf we've had, it looked like a lot of people were struggling with the soft conditions. Nice problem to have!

4.30-7 pm - Overhead on the sets at the punchier end. Closing out like a guillotine for the most part, but definitely some lefts and rights on the edges of the rips.

3000 beginners, Stack of surface chop, with a hint of chest high mushy close outs. The only think stopping it being a poor- was the Chevey Impala for sale in the car park. What a mint car! Its pretty clever marketing parking it there... being able to put your longboard in the trunk would be a feature a lot in lindy surfers would love! (Not affiliated btw)
