Good times this morning! I was in from 7-8:15'ish. Found a solid rip that made for a dry hair paddle out which otherwise would have been a paddle fest. Pretty Clean, solid, focused peaks with some power...I thought I was at OB. Boomy Drops but fast shoulders. Some closeouts but hey it is Lindy. After a good rocking I went south to round out the session with some ego boosters.

Saturday 12pm - Linda Mar, good surfing

Good times at Lindy, chest range but friendly faces and not as dumpy as yesterday night. Scored some nice rides from 9-10 then the tide started to shut it down from 10-11. The Kook prarade came out in force around then and after threading the needle a few times I was over it.

Great day at OB! I brought a buddy from Colorado and threw him on a Kook-board. I baby sat accordingly and fun was had by all in our area. The waves were very fun, kind of small and mellow. Waist to shoulder and offering both rights and lefts. The inner and outer bars were both working during the session from 1:30-3:00'ish. Solid session, quality waves and great rides on my new fish. Thank you James and the crew at SS ("Stay[ing] vague, stay stoked)!

Thursday 10am - Ocean Beach, good surfing

Very nice morning at OB at my usually spot. Was in the water from 7-9 am and had nice, mellow lefts and rights but the tide kind of shutting things down. I also scored yesterday from 1-2:30 pm on the lower tide up near where the comp was held. Bother sessions were in the waist to chest size. Vast majority of the waves were rideable and fun.

Wednesday 9am - Linda Mar, poor surfing

In the h2o from from 7-8 ish. It looked like crap but I justified it as a shoulder workout. It was onshore and waist high with the close out sets around shoulder. I picked off a bunch of inside smaller waves to save the morning. Conditions were straight poor but I had a better morning than going to the office early.

Saturday 1pm - Linda Mar, poor surfing

Closed out and bomby drops on tap from N to S. Good amount of power and some size. It took a little wisdom to learn to sit on the inside and avoiding the bombs and picking off smaller better ones. Overall, poor.

Belated post. I was out Saturday from 12:00 to 2:30 at Lindy. ###### was blowing off with good HH close outs. After getting some duck dive training I moved south and found some fun lefts and rights in the CH-SH range. Great first day back in a long time! I am giving it an accurately rated Poor as the vast majority of the rides on the overall beach were close out bombers. A couple sneaky wins should not tilt the scale in my book!

The headline should read, "How could 200 surfers be so stupid!" Yesterday morning was probably the worst conditions I have ever paddled out for at Linda Mar. It was just mixed up summer slop. It had been a few weeks so I jumped in to paddle around but the waves were weak, unorganized, and terrible.
