I surfed the big end from 2 to 3. The paddle out wasn’t too bad. I was plugging away for over 20 minutes and not really getting anywhere but was in a seam during a lull and popped through. It was definitely cleaner than earlier but was still lumpy, bumpy and unorganized. Not much current on the outside but fog was obscuring the view of the beach making it difficult to line up. I caught 2 set waves…meaty with some bump on the faces but pretty long rides. The last one held up through to the inside. I have to give it a "good" because it's the first swell of the season and I got a couple of fun rides.

It's a nice morning at Linda Mar. Kind of sectioning and closing out but it could improve as the tide fills in.
