Thankfully, no one was hurt. Obviously, sharks are no stranger to this area. In fact, I'm surprised there aren't more sightings. Especially at Bolinas, where sea lions are constantly going in and out of the channel.

What is the best way to predict the conditions at Bolinas? I feel like I've tried it all, but its still an inexact science. So I'm left having to take a gamble on the conditions (a big gamble at that, since it's 3 hours roundtrip from the city).
