Fun fast sections that held up surprisingly well. After 3 consecutive crappy sessions at OB it was nice to get some clean waves. As much as I try to hate LM, I think I am developing a secret appreciation for it on days like this. 65 degrees and sunny didn't hurt, either.

Ate it and lost a contact on the first wave, so the rest of the sesh was a bit of a blur. Nothing like not seeing the wave until it's right on top of you and having almost no depth perception to keep you on your toes. Ended up getting a few OK rides but I'd call it fair-/poor+ at best. Seemed to get wonkier as the day went on.

Frothy, pitching waves. Lots of closeouts and strong currents. Some nice waves, but definitely gotta be lucky and patient with positioning.

Waves were "good", but at least in the late morning where I was at the crowd was terrible, hence the "fair-". Beautiful day with lots of HH+ barreling waves (and quite a few closeouts) but also 6 people paddling for every wave, tons of drop ins, and people taking off way too deep and ditching boards. I usually don't mind crowds but when the waves are hollow and a few feet overhead and people of various skill levels are aggro'ing for each wave, just doesn't seem like a safe situation. Ended up just catching a few and calling it a day.

Fun little sunset session, knee to chest high; some rare + sets. Better than it looked from shore, but maybe that's just because I went in with low expectations!

Thought it would get cleaner with the low tide, but it didn't. Choppy, mixed up, and hard to get into any of the waves on the outside. And when you did, wave face was bumpy and choppy. Hopefully it cleans up tomorrow..

8:30-10:30AM. Sunny. Lots of closeouts like usual but some OK corners to the shore on the tweeners between sets. Was getting warbly'er / less clean w/the tide push.
