Took the gf to the HMB Drop and Wash to work on some knee highs. Good day for beginners to get a feel for the whole experience. She did pretty good catching belly rides. I had fun on the fish with not much to work with. Every once in awhile, there'd be something to get down the short line. It was terrible, but I had fun anyway. Grabbed some corn on the way home. Now it's time for beer and too much food. Happy 4th everybody!

Decided that the 36 chambers wasn't for me this morning and took a chance with Lindy. Figured there'd be umpteen million people in the water and much to my surprise, the conditions kept most of them out. Good solid CH-SH on the bigger side. It was definitely right place right time. I lucked out on some big ones and then had some fun on the inside. Sunshine, some burning tree wafting about, funky waves... it's irie mon. I and I like Linda Marley.

Pretty darn fun out there. CH with some more juice than yesterday. Started out in a great spot with a snappy left and some rolling rights. But then, I punched my ticket for the Northbound Express and it was few and far between from then on.

Endthis Summer conditions at SFOB. Not looking good for today. Guess I'll go to work or something.

Flabulous for the most part. Picked off a couple that made it worth it, but for the most part it was drop and stop. The garbage in the parking lot at 6am was ridiculous. Looked like a landfill. They've already made a pass and cleaned up most of it, but it's still full of trash out there. Nothing like walking past a used diaper on the way to the water. I'm not sure what is junkier, the lot right now or the waves. :( I hope it doesn't get hot for awhile just so the litterbugs stay home. Buttholes.

Nice and sunny with clean conditions at SFOB. Waisties and Chesties for the most part. Sat on a peak mostly to myself waiting for the set wave. When I was patient, I was rewarded with long rides and a big beautiful face to practice just about anything. I've got like two maneuvers so I just kept at it until flabbergasted. Stoked.

Sunshine on flabby shoulders to some good ones all the way to the beach. WH to CH. At first, it was wrong place, right time for me. But then, I started to line things up. Sorta wished I had my longboard, but was also glad I didn't when I got in the right place. I had a left that would've could've been something fun and I blew it. Skipped like a rock for what seemed like an unusually long time for not that big of a wave. Fairly stoked by the good ones, though.
