KH -WH peelers in somewhat bumpy/windy conditions. Hecka-deca fun tho: lots of waves, not too crowded.

Found a few bumps hitting a sandbar. Worth a paddle if you're desperado even if only to behold the beauty of the morning.

We got some up-close-and-personal time with the sandbars as the tide was pretty low this morning. The wind was onshore, but there were a few (small) fun waves... Always worth a paddle at this spot. As @skullbone mentioned- super-clear water.

observed: a piece of driftwood that almost looked like a coffin. It wasn't, but this brought up an important hypothetical... if you're surfing with two friends on an empty beach and a coffin floats by, what do you do? Drag it to the beach and crack it open? Call the authorities? Push it westward? Discuss.

Well I had fun. These bumps had a little more oomf than I expected based on the numbers (but heck, I'll take it). The wind was behaving and that flag (at half-mast, btw) was leaning west for the early part of the morning. Occasional glassy SH whoppers, but ridable whoppers came through. The mucked it all up around 9.

More of the same, though the wind came down which let these ungroomed ripples rough up the wave face a bit. Zippy, fun. Mostly KH-WH plenty of smiles in the water.

Mostly flatsky, but we went for it anyway. KH-WH bumps held up with that south wind that turned offshore. A few folks were out and everyone was having fun. Looooong lulz.

A little better than yesterday. WH+ sections. Moments of glass. Not too crowded. Sometimes it all lined up for a zippy ride into shallow water.

Partly cloudy with a chance of whales.

Mixed up and junky. No wind at least. I paddled away from the crowd to find glassier, less mushy close-outs.
