Surf Reports by h finn

It surfed better than it looked. Onshore, warbly, double-peaks, I paddled out at high tide, and it seemed larger than I expected it to be, at least shoulder-high on the larger sets. I'd say quite a few waves were holding up, sometimes with pretty good shape. I must be easy to please.

Tuesday 11am - Linda Mar, fair surfing

Probably a little better now. Tides dropping. Surfed ######. Spreadout crowd, not bad. Longish wait for plus sets but lots of waves, some shoulder too. Still fun

Tuesday 8am - Linda Mar, fair surfing

Cold, sunny, a little offshore texture, probably about 3 to 5--for the few minutes I've been watching. Pretty good shoulders. It's high tide now--might get better with a little less water. Fair number in the water now but not crowded. Definitely surfable. Might even get good

Wednesday 12pm - Linda Mar, fair surfing

Lots of sun, light breeze, waist to chest on the ######, looks bigger north, not totally closing out but the sections are inconsistent, no single good place to line up. When you do catch one that doesn't dump, you may need need to fade or it mushes. It may anyway. Every now and then something holds up. It's Linda Mar.

Saturday 1pm - Linda Mar, fair surfing

I'll second the previous report but add that generally the beach, though mushy, is not closing out. The larger sets have pretty good shape, if you can stay in position and wait.

Sunny, cold inconsistent light breeze, a little texture, 3-6+, slowish but few closeouts as a consequence, nice peak just north of ######
