This could have been a really good book, but it felt disjointed to me since the photo titles were put at the end of the book instead of with the actual photo. The result? You're flipping back and forth trying to create some form of narrative. Pity.

This is a solid book about the huge wave history at Cortes Bank. Unlike Susan Casey's book "The Wave" where big wave surfers are described like gods, Dixon's book tears back the varnish to show what's really underneath a lot of these guys. Good stuff.
