Rant - confusing reports

Can anyone explain the difference in swell predictions between SR and Swellinfo? I am confused... (not a new situation for me)

Friday 10am - Linda Mar, fair- surfing

Clean and hollow shape at 7:30 am deteriorated to mush, chop, and closeouts by 930. Early bird enjoyed the first worm a lot more than the last one.

Saturday 12pm - Ocean Beach, fair surfing

cleaner and much bigger than it has been. Long paddle to the far sand bar, rewards for a lucky few out there. wind coming up.
