The rest of the world looks at the Linda Mar cam at 7:20 this morning and sees looming 10-12 ft rollers pounding with a majestic ferocity. You? You see 4-6 ft. with occasional 8ft and "looking mostly closed out"

Standing on the beach staring at the sea, there's no place I'd rather be.

Stretching from side to side, the cold reaches deep, but I'm beckoned by the incoming tide.
