Thanks all for chiming in on http://stokereport.com/rant/indo-recommendations. I grabbed a spot with the Sumatran Surfariis guys and am super stoked though a little nervous about what I've signed myself up for.

In preparation, I'm interested in trying to step up my game a bit with a move that is not quite in character for me - some focused instruction.

A buddy of mine can take about two weeks for a trip sometime from the middle of May to middle of June. I am free for that time and but can take up to four weeks to explore. We're thinking an Indo boat trip would be a great way to take maximum advantage of the time we have to surf together.

Anyone else wish that StokeReport supported mobile (er, iphone) for posted videos? I
find myself checking StokeReport a fair amount on the go and am always
bummed to see the 'no plugin' icon in safari iphone for posted videos.

Ran into a guy (not literally) in the water at Linda Mar on Thursday morning taking photos with a point and shoot Canon. He mentioned that he posts his photos at a web site that ends in .info but I don't remember the rest. watershots.info or something like that. Had a great session in front of the pump house and think he may have gotten a couple good ones.

I was forwarded this unattributed photograph as a picture from Mavericks last Sunday. Looks a lot like Linda Mar to me.
