Monday 10am - Ocean Beach, fair surfing

small, warbled, short period, kinda onshore, but a coupla nugs. Definitely worth it

Friday 1pm - Ocean Beach, fair surfing

Really challenging inner bar this am. Once I got through that the outside was much cleaner. Just me and the pelicans. No current to speak of. Thick steep OH waves. Sand all the way up to the walkway.

Wednesday 10am - Ocean Beach, good surfing

Classic OBeast day. Time it wrong and it's a 30-wave grind. Outside varied from clean and really fun to too walled or funky mashed potatos. Nice when the overhead and the paddle cut down the crowds. Ain't complaining - got my 'drenalin fix for sure.

Rant - Uh-oh

This was recently posted on Pacific Coast Shark News. Didn't see the string here yet. Aren't these guys supposed to be in Hawaii or Oregon or something?

Rant - Favorite RipCurl heats

Digging reviewing the event heats. Round 2 Heat 9 with Miggy Pupo getting way shacked was a highlight, as was Wright going air show in R3 H9. Medina's heats were cool to watch, as were Slay-ters. Such good video, although where's the water cam shotz? That would be very educational.

Rant - Should they reschedule?

Looking gutless and crumbly this am. I think they should push it back until there's more size and shape. Don't let a great contest go out with a whimper. They've got 10 more days -for sure it will get way bigger and better than this. Thoughts?
