As if the buoy & wind readings didn't tell you already, let me attest that OB was knee to waist high (on the set waves) wind slop with stiff onshores this morning.

However - I was sick all last week and damned if I wasn't going to paddle out. Egged on by sticker, I took my low expectations into the water and damned if I didn't have a fun kookslop session. Lots of little pathetic (yet fun) rides. One of those days when you get out of the water, look back & think "damn did I just surf that crap?".

Fun shoulder high dumpers with some corners. Pretty stoked given the weak options today.

Not super clean but still surprisingly fun. Shoulder high and generally a little soft - well suited to fish or long board. Saw a couple of people ripping on short boards too though - you know who you are.

Fairly tough paddle with fierce north current. About 50% or less were making it - unfortunately my arms were 'conditioned by tahoe', and I did not make it. The outside was clean and 1.5x. Sunny & calm. What I wouldn't give for my December arms :-)

Intermittent shoulder high, slightly soft but still fun. Best on a fishy shape. A little right time / right place but it's sunny and the wind is not howling :-) dang cold water...
