Saturday 11am - Linda Mar, poor surfing

Nice day out at LM but the surf is not cooperating. Junky swell in the chest to HH range. Few workable shoulders but mostly closed out. Poor.

Saturday 9am - Linda Mar, poor surfing

Few guys out on the south end. OH south end and bigger as you head north. Mostly closed out. The shoulder HH waves are more workable. Looks like a long challenging paddle. Aloha!

I think most of us figured this out with a storm heading our way....

The Maverick's big-wave surf contest had high hopes for running the event Wednesday, but called it off Monday after a vote of the 24 competitors. Although there are no potential contest days on the immediate horizon, reports indicate more big swells for Northern California sometime next week.

Saturday 9am - Linda Mar, poor surfing

Chest high south end to HH+ north end. Closeouts everywhere. Very few short shoulders to catch. I see some workable lefts on the south end.

HALF MOON BAY — Surfers worldwide are keeping their eyes on a swell materializing in the Pacific Ocean that, if its direction changes slightly, could allow the annual Mavericks Surf Contest near Half Moon Bay to happen Friday, a contest official said this morning.....

Saturday 2pm - Linda Mar, fair surfing

Good amount of swell showing. Mostly closed out but some rideable shoulders to work with. Paddle out wasn't too bad with the long lulls. Chest-shoulder high at boat docks with some clean up sets HH+. Bigger and closed out as you head north. Fair -

Overcast day at LM with offshore breeze and slightly texture. Middle of beach chest high and slightly bigger as you head north. Closeouts here and there but some rideable shoulders to pick off. Not super crowded but people out with a happy good vibe. Fair.
