The buoys would have you believe SFOB was utter crap. It's better than that. WH-CH longboardably fun. Textured but nice lines. Light wind.

Same as it's been most of the summer at SFOB--marginally surfable shore pound under cold grey skies. Onshores, etc.

Can't beliebe the surf gods responded favorably to my cries of anguish. SFOB was SH, peeling, & consistent w/light winds. Sooo satisfied.

From 6am: Winds are kitin' at SFOB. Energy in the water is gettin' beat down. Conditions only good for the Coast Guard boats doing training exercises. But, of course, I went. Even after all my friends abandoned me. Just me, the dolphins, and the Coast Guard.

Soft as a baby's bottom at SFOB. CH lines, light breeze, enveloping fog. My board wanted more foam, & it was a fat fish. Saw a coyote, tho.
