Went out pretty much at high tide and got what I expected. It looks to be shaping up now.

Pretty Inconsistent, most stuff wouldn't wall up and when it did, it tended to dump inside. Lots of happy teenagers and college-age folks though. And a veritable plethora of pigtailed Santa Cruz-looking girls. If you're, you know, into that.

Lookout and backside were the Word. Conditions ranged from packed powder to packed crust. Low drama; it's Northstar.

Everything but the backside was open. It was snowing all day. Conditions alternated between packed powder and delicious wind-buffed cream cheese, hand-delivered by a Twinkie.

I ran into deetr0n on the bike path and we paddled out at a secure and undisclosed location.

A longboard was the right choice and the soft little ramps that would pop up sporadically were easy to get into.
