I dare play devil's advocate and ask this question. I realize this site is all about positive vibes and I personally see no problem in posting up a report (or even pictures) after you surf where the conditions could be different.

However, with technology and cell phones, text messaging, surf cams,are we making it too easy for everyone to know what the surf is like? What ever happened to, drive your ass to the beach to check out the surf? There is already wind data, buoy data, etc.. to know if it is even worth checking it.

Not trying to be a dick, but asking you to ponder this.....
