Thursday 8am - Steamer Lane, great surfing

Yesterday morning - Big swell, clear skies, great waves and NO WIND! Nice sets coming through at the Lane and Westside in general. East side not as big or clean. Saw a few double overhead sets push through, mostly overhead plus range. Outside reef started to show on the bigger ones. That was it for me. I had to get wet.

Rant - East Side Santa Cruz Yesterday Morning

Date - Feb. 25, time - 7:15 AM, air temp - 49 degrees, water temp - 51 to 55 degrees, wave height - overhead plus. Typical wetsuit used 4/3 with booties and hood. This guy out there rippin' in just shorts! I was shivering just standing on the cliffs.

"obviously that dude shredded so hard his wetsuit just tore right off..."

Thursday 6am - , good surfing

Yesterday - Although OB was a mess, there were other spots that were surf-able.

Tuesday 4pm - Ocean Beach, good surfing

4PM - Clean conditions with light offshore at about ######. About shoulder high with bigger sets at head high plus.

Some fun looking sets pushing through even with the higher tide. Taken about 1:30 out at ######.
