Spectators at Mavericks get to feel what it's like to take one on the head. I think you had to pay extra for this.

Waiting for the tide to get low. I went up and down the cost from OB to Devil Slides against my better judgment just hoping a break would be working and it turned out to be a waste of gas plus the road race is making it a pain to get from OB down the coast. The tide is too high nothing was really working. Low tide is at 5:30.

Rant - Traction pad

My traction pad is peeling up does anyone know how to deal with this? Aqua-seal or maybe crazy glue?

Big props to my boy Jameson G., sunset resident, and OB waterman. On Wednesday (might of been Thursday) after finishing up his session he was walking home along the high tide line when he noticed a board washed up on the beach. Immediately sensing something was wrong he started to survey the break when he spotted a drowning man stuck in between the inner and out bars taking a pounding. Jameson doing what comes naturally dropped his board on the beach and furiously swam towards the man in distress.

The funny thing is I was more worried about the boards then the car.
